Summer is on the horizon so it is a better time than ever to cut the crap out of a toxic lifestyle! I have been on holiday this last week and have swiftly developed my hated sun allergy! - I love the sun, but my skin hates it!
Red, itchy and lumpy - Not a pleasant sight. What is the best way to heal this? Any other sufferers? You may be surprised when I tell you that despite plenty of essential oils, natural creams, lotions and potions, changes to my ...diet will actually prove the most beneficial!
Many skin conditions - including those associated with sun allergy - are actually deep rooted in the digestive system! Therefore I shall be focusing this summer on natural foods, cutting out all processed foods (including bread, biscuits and my beloved Sauvignon & crackers) and focusing on increasing my water intake and munching on foods high in vitamins and minerals.
(Ok... For the die hard Aromatherapy fans - I will ALSO be using a body scrub containing Epsom salts, Dead sea salts, Jojoba oil & Grapefruit & Lemon oil for the morning with Lavender and rose oil for the evening - alongside working the digestive reflexes on my feet to aid detoxification and boost my body's natural processes).
